Each piece begins with the collection of sea glass found on the shores of Costa Blanca, goes through artisan hands slowly mixing and selecting local earth and ends in a moment of stillness, when the fire has done its job.
Infused with recycled sea glass, my stoneware incense holders are hand-built to celebrate the 'Wabi-Sabi' philosophy: being able to recognize profound beauty in what at first glance appears weathered and imperfect with the same appreciation we are taught to appreciate the appearance of refined objects. Wisdom resides in the observer who recognizes the story the object conveys.
